Setups

In AquaTrax v2 a setup is defined as any system circulating the same water. So that could be a simple aquarium with an internal filter, an aquarium with a sump tank, or even a complete breeding or holding system circulating the same water through various tanks. AquaTrax v2 will allow you to attach as many tanks as you wish to the setup along with all of your equipment. AquaTrax v2 then calculates the total setup water volume and bases its calculations on this total system volume.

Everything in AquaTrax v2 is based on the setup. Therefore all water tests, water changes, expenses, etc. are all recorded against the setup, and not the tank. This means that even if you change the tank and leave everything else in place you can still keep the history.

With AquaTrax v2 you can record an unlimited number of setups, subject to licensing. You can even setup a test setup prior to buying the equipment so that you can run a simulation and see how everything runs together. This facility will be invaluable for business customers who wish to plan out their customer’s setup to show them. Having planned everything in AquaTrax v2 you can then run a report to print off a list of all the items you have selected to buy and you can go shopping.
