Setup Simulator

AquaTrax v2’s Setup Simulator is another unique feature. Once you have added all of your aquarium setup information to AquaTrax v2, including setting up the time for the timers for your lights, pumps etc. then you can run a simulation to see how everything fits together. This enters a world of its own for those with multiple lights as it will allow you to see just how much light is given out at any one point, allow you to plan that co2 system to come on or off and just the right time, etc.

The simulator will show you all equipment connected to the selected setup and give you a break down of the following information in both a gauge and a timeline. You will also be able to see what the highest value is for any of the information.

Electricity consumption (cost based on your own suppliers price)
Water Turnover (X/hour)
Water Turnover (L/hour)
Light Output ( Watts)
Light Output (w/gal)

Once you have tweaked your timers and moved items around until you are happy with the results, you can print off a crib sheet with the times for the timers to make setting it all up for real a lot easier.

The Setup Simulator also allows you to setup test aquariums so if you are planning on starting a new aquarium for yourself or your customer, you can try out all of the required hardware to see if you will get your desired results.
