Databases

AquaTrax v2 is based around a central main database.

The main database is divided into 3 main sections, Equipment, Livestock and the rest (Suppliers, diseases etc). The idea is that every element of your aquarium, from the tank to the fish, from the filter media to the supplier you get it all from, is already in the system, allowing you to simply select the item and add it to your own equipment or livestock. Not only does this save you time but also saves replication of the same work.

If you find that an item is not already in the database then you can add it. You can even add different types of equipment or livestock that we have not thought about. We have included a facility where you can upload your changes and additions to a central database where other AquaTrax v2 users can download the updates straight into their database (subject to a valid annual membership).

We have also included the ability for you to record an item as a favourite, this will then add this item to the top of any lists saving you from searching through lists for the items you use the most frequently. There is also a wish lists section where you can add the items you would like to get, both equipment and livestock. Once again this allows you to quickly find that special item.
